Viitorul Constanța is a Romanian professional football club from Constanţa, Constanţa County, south-east Romania, founded in 2009.
They currently play in the Liga II, Seria I in the 2010-2011 season after finishing 1st in the Liga III, Seria II in the 2009-2010 season.[1]
History
The club was founded in the summer of 2009 and enroled in the Liga III after buying a spot from CS Ovidiu. The club is owned by world wide known international romanian footballer, Gheorghe Hagi.
2009/10 season
The club achieved the mathematical promotion to the Liga II after round 33 of the season, being in a fierce run with ACS Berceni near the end of the season.
Stadium
Viitorul Constanţa plays its home matches at Ovidiu Stadium, in Ovidiu, with a capacity of 1,000 people all on seats.
